Who's singing a tune, a clear sound?

Hark, the friends and confidants combine,

With lengthened howls to the raised wine.

Shoo, ouch, alas,

How much of our hair's turned frost in the glass?

The South Ridge I miss

To our gathering, the blue bird brings this.

Flower Pool disturbs my dream:

The imperial beauty stands there to beam!

The lychee smells so sweet;

Leaves dewed and sprays blown tilt our drunken seat.

Once more, next year let's make it to meet.

王蛰堪，名景泉，字季洲，号蛰堪，斋号半梦庐。1949年生于天津，原籍河北霸州。有《半梦庐词》《半梦庐诗稿》《半梦庐词话》等。

WANG Zhekan, born in Tianjin in 1949, Jingquan by given name, styled Shoal, Zhekan (meaning “a hermit”) by literary name, Half-Asleep Lodge by study name.
